     Located in the southern part of Pingdingshan City, Zhanhe District covers an area of 123.5 sq km with a population of 210,000. It is made up of one township and one town and 71 administrative villages.

     The Pingdingshan City Labour Dispute Arbitration Committee rejected Zhou Xianghua's appeal. Subseuqently, Zhou sued her work unit in court. On 9 December 2005, the case was tried by the Zhanhe district court of Pingdingshan. After hearing both sides of the argument, the collegiate panel delivered the verdict: Zhou lost her case.
