Aromanian[edit]

Alternative forms[edit]

Etymology[edit]

From Latin clāmō. Compare Romanian chema, chem. The initial -a- is a common addition to many Aromanian words derived from Latin, and is likely not etymological in this case (therefore it's probably not derived from the related Latin acclamō).

Verb[edit]

acljem first-singular present indicative (third-person singular present indicative acljamã or acljeamã, past participle acljimatã)

  1. to call
