biddee (plural biddees)

  1. The previous owner of property who is transferring ownership of that property to a new owner as a result of bidding ("placing a bid").
  2. One who is bidden to do something (by a bidder).
    • 2014, 2013 6th International Conference on BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (BMEI 2013)[1]:
      Earth observation satellite (i.e. biddee) receives observation request from the ground station by communication satellite. The biddee publishes these tasks to DSS and selects winner satellite (successful bidder) for job through bidding process. Successful bidder executes the observation task. Observation result is conveyed to the biddee.
