  1. (rare) One whose vessel capsizes.
    • 1938, Country Life, volume 74, page 28:
      One boy did capsize out in the middle of the bay, but another who was with him sailed back to the Point and he and I, in a larger boat, went out and towed the capsizee home.
    • 1972, Yachting, volume 131, page 36:
      I remember well the greetings of catcalls and horn toots that awaited the unfortunate capsizees when they were towed past all the others who had managed to remain upright.
