  1. (biology, medicine) Deprivation of the nucleus.
  2. (physics) The process of removing of gas nuclei from the liquid solution by the application of hydrostatic pressures.

      In any solution, gas nuclei can be deactivated (crushed) by the application of large hydrostatic pressures. The process of crushing is also termed denucleation.
