hermaphroditism (countable and uncountable, plural hermaphroditisms)
- (biology) Being able to reproduce as both male and female, either simultaneously (simultaneous hermaphrodtism or cosexuality) or sequentially (sequantial hermahprodtism or dichogamy).
- (dated, now offensive) Historically used to describe intersex people with intermediate sex characteristics and/or pseudohermaphroditism, now considered a slur[1][2][3]
