Etymology[edit]

From Proto-Albanian *lunkā, from Proto-Indo-European *lewk- (to bend) with a nasal infix, similar to that of Old Prussian lunkis (angle), Lithuanian luñkanas (supple), Latvian llùnks (supple).[1]
