Literally, “treefrog tapaculo”. Their vocalization is simmilar to the one of a treefrog.

Usage notes[edit]
- The gender of this Portuguese word is always masculine. When the gender of the being itself must be specified, use “macuquinho-perereca-macho” for male, and “macuquinho-perereca-fêmea” for female.
