      By the Statute of Gloucester, made 6 Edw. 1. whereas before Damages were not awarded in a Mortdancester, (k) (unless upon a Recovery against the chief Lord) (l) they shall be awarded in all Cases where a Man recovers in a Mortdancester: (m) So in Cosinage, Ayel, and Besaiel.
