Inherited from Ottoman Turkish اولدم اوله‌سی (oldum olası, ever since I came into existence, from my birth until now),[1] equivalent to ol- (to be, to become) +‎ -du (past tense suffix) +‎ -m (1st person singular suffix) +‎ ol- +‎ -ası (adverbial participle suffix, mutated).
