relex (plural relexes)

  1. (conlanging) A conlang created by substituting new vocabulary into the grammar of an existing language.
    Lojban started as a relex of Loglan, but the languages' grammars have since diverged.
  2. (programming, by extension) A programming language that differs from another only by the names of keywords, functions, etc.
