     “Em sap greu, però no tinc registres de clients tan antics”, va respondre'm tot fent gal·la [sic] d'un gran sentit de l'humor.

     "I'm sorry, but I don't have records for such old clients," he responded, showing off a grand sense of humor.

Usage notes

The person who feels sorry is the indirect object of saber greu, which is normally in the third person singular. Thus, "I'm sorry" is not *Jo sé greu but rather Em sap greu.
