English[edit]

Verb[edit]

see the same way (third-person singular simple present sees the same way, present participle seeing the same way, simple past saw the same way, past participle seen the same way)

  1. To look at or think of with the same mindset or vision as one did in the past.
I used to love the Chevrolet, but after getting injured by a drunk driver of one, I will never see the Chevrolet the same way again.

Usage notes[edit]

Usually used in the negative, preceded by a negative modifier such as not or never. If preceded by never, the word after the expression is usually again, as in "I will never see X the same way again."
