Etymology[edit]

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish صولوغی صولوغنه (ṣoluġu ṣoluġuna),[1][2] from صولوق (ṣoluḳ),[3] equivalent to soluk (breath, an instance of breathing) +‎ -u (possessive suffix) +‎ soluk +‎ -u (possessive suffix) +‎ -(n)a (dative suffix with "n" as buffer consonant).
