tagback (plural tagbacks)

1. (chiefly in the plural) In the game of tag, the act of tagging a player who just tagged oneself, without first giving them a chance to escape — usually forbidden.

   • 2012, Steven Piziks, The Nanotech War: Star Trek Voyager:
