Cognate with Assamese ভেটিবা (bhetiba), Odia ଭେଟିବା (bheṭiba), Maithili 𑂦𑂵𑂗𑂥 (bheṭab), Old Awadhi भेंटइ (bhẽṭai), Hindi भेट्ना (bheṭnā), Gujarati ભેટવું (bheṭvũ), Sindhi ڀيٽَڻُ (bheṭaṇu), Nepali भेट्नु (bheṭnu), Marathi भेटणे (bheṭṇe).
