     アキノノゲシはノゲシに比(くら)べて花(はな)の色(いろ)が黄(おう)白(はく)色(しょく)と淡(あわ)く、葉(は)に柄(え)があって茎(くき)を抱(だ)かない。

     Akinonogeshi wa nogeshi ni kurabete hana no iro ga ōhakushoku to awaku, ha ni e ga atte kuki o dakanai.

     Compared to sow thistle, Indian lettuce has paler yellow flowers, and its leaves are not held on stalks.
