@Calak, my Armenian sources also quote Persian āgīš ‘hook’, but in Steingass it rather means ‘suspended; drawn out’. Is there āgīš ‘hook’ in monolingual Persian dictionaries? --Vahag (talk) 12:06, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
