I don't know any Danish, but if this were English I'd move the literal sense to the etymology and class it as a proverb, not an idiom. Proverbs are generally idiomatic anyway. Mglovesfun (talk) 18:57, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Agree on both counts, although I am in the habit of putting literal translations on the headword line. What's more serious, the translation isn't even right, judging by the first four hits on QQ (I was not familiar with this turn of phrase before).
