@Equinox I think this term, while in principle and certainly in the past neutral, has acquired a particular political ring. In the context of online debate, it is more often used by right-leaning people and almost always in a derogatory manner. Check for instance the durable citations here or search it on any online forum (e.g. [1]) and a pattern will emerge. Fytcha (talk) 19:42, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

- Also personally I'd use "politics" for the actual jargon of politics, like antisuffrage, and not for insults hurled by everyday people with different political views. Equinox ◑ 06:53, 14 November 2021 (UTC)
