roller table (plural roller tables)

  1. A worktable whose tabletop is composed of multiple rollers (either cylindrical or spherical), easing the movement of large or heavy workpieces, especially in a factory or workshop. The rollers often ride on roller bearings or are such bearings. Conveyor systems sometimes incorporate such tables as components.
