Originally a nonlexical vocable used in scat singing. Popularized by the web series Skibidi Toilet (2023–present) and the 2018 song "Skibidi" by Little Big.

Usage notes

• This sense was coined or popularised by a short viral song on the video-sharing social media platform TikTok utilising Internet slang associated with Generation Alpha entitled “Gyatstacy” (but more commonly known as “Sticking Out Your Gyat for the Rizzler”) by the user @ovp.9. A parody of the song "ecstacy", the debut single by SUICIDAL-IDOL, @ovp.9 sings “you're so skibidi” and “you're so Fanum tax”; Fanum tax, a proper noun, refers to the playful taking of the portion of a friend's food without permission. As such, it is not an adjective, and neither was skibidi before the song's release.
