@DTLHS Thanks for adding that English verb, I didn’t even realize and was thinking in Latin – which is also the key to the English definition you need: it means the same as the Latin. Fittingly this verb is also extremely rare, and by using such a translation, we succeed in not pretending to know much about its usage which is likely defunct more than a millenium. (Of course, we like to mix it so there are also easier glosses, so I might add another one after the explanations in the Medieval dictionaries.) Fay Freak (talk)
