@Kutchkutch, DerekWinters Uh, is this a word? Never heard of it, and nothing in McGregor. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 02:13, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

@AryamanA: Never heard of it either, but perhaps we should give it some thought before thinking about deleting it right away in just case it's a rare or rural word.
The ultimate source of all the dictionary citations appears to be from Dasa and it says
औंहर † संज्ञा स्त्री० [सं० अवरोध, प्रा० ओरोह] अटकाव । रूकावट । बाधा । विघ्न ।
The "†" is an abbreviation for "प्रांतीय प्रयोग", which is probably why most people won't know about it
The Turner entry for अवरोध is at avarōdha 815: ‘ shoot sent down by a branch of the banyan tree ʼ
There is an actual usage example in Bhojpuri at [1]
एंहर छन रहल हौ,औंहर सन रहल हौ
ēnhar chan rahal hau, aunhar san rahal hau
(please add an English translation of this usage example)
Also, there's a village called औंहर शेख in Bihar (Village Info and Weather). And there is a place named औहर in Himachal Pradesh. Kutchkutch (talk) 03:50, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Kutchkutch: Wow, great work! I will definitely add {{lb|hi|regional}}. I also found some other Bhojpuri on Facebook.
एंहर बड़की फूआ, ओंहर बड़की फूआ
ēnhar baṛᵊkī phūā, ōnhar baṛᵊkī phūā
And on Twitter
ईवीएम हैक न होता यार, कौनो तार एंहर-ओंहर सट जा रहा होगा
īvīēm haik na hōtā yār, kaunō tār ēnhar-ōnhar saṭ jā rahā hōgā
(seems to be a mix of Hindi and Bhojpuri; it's talking about the Delhi elections that happened a while back, so that could make sense)
I think ओंहर (ōnhar) means "there", and औंहर (aunhar) could be a misspelling. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 23:09, 12 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
