RFD discussion: November 2019[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

"-year-old" in "15-year-old" is not a grammatical suffix, any more than "15-" is a prefix. Equinox 20:59, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I agree, and I added the missing definition to old (noun). -Mike (talk) 22:26, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Totally agree. Delete This is nothing more than standard grammar practice when forming multiword adjectives, such as "five-dollar bill". Or "He's an always-catch-the-seven-o'clock-train kind of commuter". The words are hyphenated and any plurality removed (since English adjectives do not have any plural agreement with the noun, unlike many other languages.). -- ALGRIF talk 22:15, 12 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Delete per proponent. Canonicalization (talk) 08:18, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Delete for the nominator's reason. — SGconlaw (talk) 08:35, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Deleted as I now see it failed an RFD previously. Equinox 19:09, 18 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
