If ruoan is pronounced like ruuan, how do you know that this word is not pronounced like "huuahdus"? Mölli-Möllerö (talk) 10:42, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

To be clear, I can't remember hearing this word used in any other context than when talking about the word itself: the word "huoahdus" exist. So I can't remember any spoken usage examples where this word was used in its meaning in a sentence, that's why I'm asking whether its "normal/casual" pronunciation can be known. I've heard huoata, huoahtaa both pronounced "uo.a", with a syllable break before the "a", but I've never heard either with "uu.a". — surjection?12:24, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
