Commons Guidelines[edit]
I took this from the Commons site:
- inactive administrators may have their access removed. According to this policy, any sysop inactive on Commons for a full year will be desysoped. "Inactive" means no edits in the past 6 months and fewer than 50 edits in the last year. Inactive administrators may re-apply through the regular way

Desysopping[edit]
I was waiting until after 9/11/05 to bring the motion to desysop to the floor in order to include User:Ortonmc in the motion; but I see he has made two edits in the past week or so. Would someone e-mail him and just ask him if he wishes to remain a sysop? I don't have that access--long story. Thanks. --Stranger 23:16, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
