From a quote of Ma Yuan in the Book of the Later Han by 范曄 (Fan Ye):

丈夫老當益壯 [Classical Chinese, trad.]

Zhàngfū wèi zhì, qióng dāng yì jiān, lǎodāngyìzhuàng. [Pinyin]
